Bin rental questions
How much does a bin rental cost?
10-yard: $270, 12-yard: $285, 17-yard: $345, 20-yard: $395 (CAD). Prices are plus GST. Each price includes a 3-day rental and 1 tonne (1,000 kg) of waste. Prices aren't unlimited-weight. Extra days are $20 per day. Weight over 1,000 kg is $45 per extra 500 kg or part (up to 500 kg over: $45; 501 to 1,000 kg over: $90).
Which bin size do I need?
As a rule of thumb: 10 yards for small cleanouts and yard jobs, 12 for garage or basement cleanouts and small renos, 17 for whole-home decluttering and mid-size renos, and 20 for bigger renovations and job sites. Choose “Help me choose” and we'll recommend one.
How does a bin rental work?
We deliver the bin to the spot you choose, you load it at your own pace, and we collect it on the agreed date. Every bin includes a 3-day rental and 1 tonne (1,000 kg) of waste. Extra days are $20 per day, and weight over 1,000 kg is $45 per extra 500 kg or part. GST is added on top.
Where can the bin go?
Usually a driveway or a firm, level surface with room for our truck to back in and lift. If it needs to go on the street, ask us about permit requirements before delivery.
What can't go in the bin?
Hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuel, propane tanks, batteries and asbestos. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt and shingles have special weight requirements — select them on the form so we can confirm. Remember each bin includes 1 tonne (1,000 kg), and heavy loads reach that quickly. Over that, it's $45 per extra 500 kg or part.
How full can I load it?
Keep the load level with the top of the bin so it can be covered and transported safely. Spread heavy items evenly.
